The 2024 Taiwan Healthcare Expo, held from December 5th to 8th at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center Hall 1, featured a "Science Park Pavilion" jointly established by the Northern, Central, and Southern Science Parks. Themed "AI x Precision Health: Driving the Future of Medical Care," the pavilion showcased the diverse applications and technological innovations of smart medical technologies from 10 companies in the Hsinchu Science Park, actively expanding into the international market.
Caduceus Biotechnology Inc. showcased its innovative multiplex molecular detection platform for neurodegenerative diseases at the 2024 Taiwan Healthcare Expo. By utilizing microporous microfluidic technology, the platform integrates four neurodegenerative disease biomarkers onto a biochip and employs a proprietary optical system to amplify and analyze minute biological signals. This enables early screening, high sensitivity, and reduced testing time. The platform has already undergone performance verification and is expected to enter clinical research. The company aims to obtain FDA approval and initiate mass production by 2027, providing individuals with earlier screening for neurological diseases.
